hi lovelies! look at this, two posts in one month you lucky bunch, you! i’m really excited about some content that i’ve got ready to share with you. if you follow me on my instagram you’ll probably know that i’ve recently been on holiday, and the lovely tutti rouge sent me some gorgeous bits and pieces to try out so i thought it would be great to take them with me.
the first review i want to bring you is the eva bodysuit* which is part of their rougette collection. i’ve been lusting after this piece for a LONG time, especially after seeing it on babes like linzi over at fairyboobmother so i was delighted when it arrived on my doorstep!
i received it in a size medium, which is one size up from my regular clothes size but i think that’s honestly for the best! i think the small would’ve been just a bit too tight on my 28G bust, while the medium fits really nicely with no digging in. it seems to fit my body quite well too, again with the small i think it would’ve ripped when trying to get it up over my bum and hips!
the design itself is gorgeous with a lovely balance of mesh and lace, it’s quite stretchy and forgiving too so if you’re fuller figured i think it would be a great piece to try out. my only gripe is that the straps are only semi-adjustable, which on me is a bit of a disaster because my shoulders are quite short so i couldn’t get them as tight as i would’ve liked, and this also meant that the gorgeous lace panel in the back didn’t quite sit how it should but i’m going to take the straps in by an inch or so on my sewing machine to help with it.
speaking of the straps, they meet in the middle at the back adding even more detail to this piece, and are finished off with tutti’s signature heart shaped sliders. despite them being slightly too long for me, i didn’t find they affected the fit or comfort of the bodysuit and i wore it comfortably all evening and night for my anniversary dinner and drinks.
one key thing i want to mention also is that the gusset doesn’t have an opening so going to the loo can be a little tricky but not impossible – just a bit like wearing a playsuit or jumpsuit!
overall i’m seriously impressed with this gorgeous piece and i’m so happy to have it in my collection. no doubt it will become part of my regular wardrobe too thanks to how easy it is to style as outerwear – the lace isn’t overly sheer and i couldn’t notice any nipslips at all, but if you’re not sure you could use a pair of nipple covers, or if you want a bit more support than just the body you could easily throw on a black bra underneath. at just £24, it’s an absolute steal! i’m already eyeing up the bralette set from the same range…
